Selling or Buying a Business

If you are selling your business, or buying another, then we can provide legal advice and drafting in regard to the share purchase agreements and disclosure letters that accompany those business sales.

The share purchase agreement, and the warranties made within it, need to be carefully drafted, or amended, to protect your interests. Additionally, the disclosures which qualify the warranties, made within the disclosure letter, are crucial to how the share purchase agreement will operate, and need equal care.

These documents are complex and require considerable scrutiny before signing. In addition to legal advice, it is essential for clients to have tax and accountancy advice from a good accountant when making these agreements.

We charge a fixed fee of £1,600 for the drafting or review of Share Purchase Agreements.
